40 years of the Country Music Festival at the Albisgütli – how it all began
The Remimag Group has been running the Albisgütli restaurant since 2015 and is also the festival’s organiser. In 1985, the first Country Music Festival took place in the Albisgütli ballroom, initiated by the restaurant’s management at the time. Having now been held 39 times, the event has established itself as a fixture on the Swiss country music scene and will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2026.
