Hi, I am Ana-Larina Cooper and founder of Country Live Switzerland!

I’m Swiss-Brazilian, based in Zurich, and country music has been a huge part of my life since 2018. What started as a passion eventually turned into Country Live Switzerland: my little corner of the internet for everything country music. And somehow, along the way, country music gave me my dream job.

There’s a pretty good chance you’ll find me at a concert, planning my next trip, or discovering an artist I’ll probably tell everyone about five minutes later.

Country Live Switzerland is very much me — personal, independent and built out of a genuine love for the music and the people around it.

In 2023, what started as a spark of boredom turned into something much bigger. With no plan in mind, I launched Country Live Switzerland on Instagram, unsure of where it might lead.

It wasn’t until I found myself singing along to Jordan Davis at a concert beginning of 2024 in Zurich that everything clicked. That night, the idea came to life: why not combine my love for Country music with connecting other Swiss fans who share the same passion?

Country Live Switzerland is a platform for Country music fans in Switzerland — built around the music, the artists and the community.

From concert updates, news on instagram and artist discoveries to interviews, Nashville tips, giveaways and our WhatsApp community, it’s a place for Country fans to stay connected and discover what’s happening both here and beyond Switzerland.

The goal has always stayed pretty simple: help grow Country music in Switzerland, bring fans together and show artists that Switzerland deserves a spot on their European tour map.

And who knows where it goes from here.

2018 was the year I really fell in love with Country music, although I had already been listening to a few Country songs before then — and I’ve always had a big, big love for Luke Bryan.

FAVORITE ALBUM
There are many, and so many great new albums keep coming out that I love listening to. But my all-time favorite has to be Zach Bryan’s live album All My Homies Hate Ticketmaster (Live from Red Rocks). I listen to it pretty much every morning when I wake up.

DREAM VENUE
Red Rocks. Obviously. One day I’ll make it there.

COUNTRY MUSIC IS…
The storytelling. The lyrics. The community. The feeling of thousands of people screaming the same song together. And yes, I love the boots, hats and line dancing too.

Chris Stapleton. Again. I saw him for the first — and so far only — time in 2019, and I’m dying to see him live again.

THE SHOWS

There are some shows that just stay with you.

Seeing Chris Stapleton and Luke Combs for the first time are definitely two of them. And somehow, after all these years and all the times I’ve seen Luke, his shows can still make me cry.

Then there was the first time I saw Morgan Wallen at the O2 Arena in London — and in 2025, seeing him at the Roundhouse with fewer than 2,000 people was pretty special.

I’m a sucker for Zach Bryan, and seeing him at BST Hyde Park in London was absolutely insane. Experiencing Revival live with that crowd is something I’ll never forget.

And then there’s CMA Fest. Going for the first time was a huge one for me. I had dreamed about going for years, and when it finally happened, I just never wanted to leave Nashville.

THE PEOPLE

One of the coolest parts of this journey has been getting to meet some of the artists behind the music I love - whether it’s for an interview or just randomly along the way. And I’ve been very lucky that every experience so far has been a good one.

Meeting Riley Green at CMA Fest 2025 was one of those slightly surreal moments.

And then there was Lainey Wilson at CMA Fest 2026. I complimented her outfit before realizing I was actually talking to Lainey Wilson. That one will probably stay with me forever.
