First Artists Announced for the 41st Albisgütli Country Music Festival

One of Switzerland's longest-running country music traditions is officially back. The 41st Albisgütli Country Music Festival will return to Zurich from 29 January to 28 February 2027, bringing another month of live country music to the historic Gasthaus Albisgütli.

Following the successful 40th anniversary edition, the festival has now revealed its first wave of artists, featuring a mix of traditional country, Americana, Southern Rock and contemporary Nashville sounds.

The first confirmed artists are:

Marco Gottardi (Switzerland) – 29 January 2027
A familiar face at Albisgütli, the singer-songwriter from Zurich's Oberland will have the honour of opening the festival for the very first time.

Love and Theft (USA) – 5 February 2027
Known for their No. 1 country hit "Angel Eyes," the American duo will make their Albisgütli debut with their signature modern Nashville sound.

Randy Thompson (USA) – 13 February 2027
The award-winning Virginia singer-songwriter is celebrated for his authentic blend of traditional country, honky-tonk and Americana.

Tyler Braden (USA) – 18 February 2027
One of Nashville's fastest-rising artists, Tyler Braden has built a massive following with his powerful mix of country and Southern Rock. The 2027 festival will mark his first appearance at Albisgütli.

The Western Girls (Czech Republic) – 27 February 2027
With outstanding harmonies, impressive musicianship and an energetic live show, The Western Girls have become one of Central Europe's best-known country acts.

The Albisgütli Country Music Festival has been a cornerstone of Switzerland's country music scene for more than four decades, offering fans the rare opportunity to experience both international and local artists in an intimate setting. The historic venue creates a unique atmosphere where audiences can enjoy performances up close.

Beyond the concerts, visitors can also look forward to the festival's popular American Breakfast, family-friendly activities, exhibitors and a variety of food and drink options throughout the event.
